Join our first annual celebration to inspire a
healthy and more sustainable community
The EcoFair Marin advisory team is partnering with the City of San Rafael to produce and host a green festival in conjunction with Earth Day, on April 23, 2011. As recommended by the city’s Climate Change Action Plan, EcoFair Marin is designed to bring businesses, nonprofits and the community together to celebrate and advance local sustainability efforts. Great entertainment, food, speakers and family activities will help us reach out and inform, engage, and empower participants.
Location
We chose the San Rafael Corporate Center for two reasons. First, because it is centrally located. At Second Street and Lincoln Avenue in downtown San Rafael, the site offers easy access to pedestrian, bike, mass-transit and auto commuters, as well as ample parking.
Secondly, the Corporate Center is a green development, which embodies the purpose of our event. It holds a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold rating for its sustainable design, construction and operation features.
How to participate
We invite you to join us and enjoy the visibility and goodwill that comes with leading the way in creating a more sustainable community.
Opportunities to get involved include:
- sponsoring the event with a donation, tax deductible as allowed
by law - being among up to 100 exhibitors, entertainers and refreshment providers
- offering your expertise as an educational speaker
Key sponsorships and booth assignments are available on a first come, first served basis.
